Frequently Asked Questions
What does a back yoke do?
A back yoke is a separate panel sewn across the upper back. It distributes fabric evenly across the shoulders and gives the shirt a more finished, elevated look.
Is the yoke hard to sew?
Not at all. The yoke uses a simple sandwich construction: the back body seam is enclosed between the outer yoke and lining, then edgestitched from the right side.
