Frequently Asked Questions

What fabric works best for a kids tee?

Cotton jersey (4–6 oz) is the easiest choice — it washes well, stays soft, and is easy to sew. Rayon jersey drapes beautifully but needs a bit more care.

Do I need a serger?

A serger gives the cleanest finish, but a stretch stitch on a regular machine works well. Use a ballpoint needle 75/11 to avoid snags on knit fabric.
