How tall is the mock neck collar?

The mock neck collar is cut 6-8 inches tall (3-4 inches finished). It stands up against the chin area without folding over like a full turtleneck.

Can I use the same fabric for the collar and body?

Yes if the body fabric has enough stretch and recovery. For most jerseys, cut the collar from a 2×2 rib or trim strip for a crisper, sturdier stand.
