Frequently Asked Questions
What fabric works best for a moto jacket?
Genuine leather (1.2-1.4mm), faux leather / PU, or waxed canvas. Use a leather needle and Teflon or walking foot. Hold seams with clips, not pins.
Do I need a walking foot?
Yes, strongly recommended for leather and faux leather. A Teflon foot also works. These prevent the material from sticking and distorting under the presser foot.
