Frequently Asked Questions

What fabric should I use for a turtleneck?

The collar must be cut from rib knit (1×1 or 2×2 rib) with strong horizontal recovery. The body can be cotton jersey, merino jersey, or thermal knit.

How is a mock neck different from a full turtleneck?

A full turtleneck collar is 10-12 inches cut (5-6 inches finished) and folds down over the neckline seam. A mock neck is 6-8 inches cut and stands up without folding — it does not cover the chin.
